Our Story

Danny Moore opened Prawn Star Cairns, after buying an old fishing trawler, restoring it, and turning it into a restaurant. We have a fleet of four vessels, from where we provide a unique dining experience, serving fresh, locally sourced seafood, cooked right on the back deck of the boats. Prawn Star is loved by locals and international diners alike.
